- There are three things Martin had never imagined in a million years would be in his bed: 1. Jon, 2. a pretty blue rope, and 3. Jon in said pretty blue rope.
- Jon's boyfriend — ex-boyfriend, he supposes at this point — is ghosting him. With the strange illness he's seemingly contracted since their last date, this may be the least of his problems.
- Jon's quite used to being left out of secrets, it's just this particular one that really gets to him.
- In the grand scheme of things, going to fetch a...a skin book for the Institute isn't the weirdest assignment they've been on.

- On a road between London and Scotland, there sits a van on the side of the road with two people in it. Jon doesn't know how the rest of the story goes. He's too busy trying to sleep in the back of a van.
- Maybe staying with Martin was a mistake. Maybe invading his privacy like this is just another step further into Jon's own complicated feelings he can't seem to put a name to anymore.
Unrelated, but Martin has a date.
- It's a bug, probably, that's keeping Jon confined to his motel room in Pittsburgh. Really, he just needs someone to talk to.
- Jon gets roped into doing followup with Martin on a very particular case about a very particular house. And then he gets roped in again. And again. And again.
Probably just needs a lot of followup...right?
